Lectures:
The PHMT course is lecture heavy. Broadly, the lectures are aiming to outline:
1.) The Thai Healthcare System
2.) Broad Public Health concepts
3.) The main public health issues facing Thailand
4.) Comparative Healthcare Systems (how to evaluate and compare healthcare system and info about other healthcare systems- i.e. ASEAN systems, US system, and the healthcare system that will be visited during the international trip.
Star Lecturers Approach: As you now know, we have struggled to get quality lectures into the PHMT course. The two main problems with the lectures up to now are: 1.) lack of depth and content and 2.) lack of engaging activities and media as part of the lectures. The lack of depth and content is by far the largest flaw. As a result, we are focusing on the lecturers who we know can deliver a well- presented lecture with adequate content. This leaves us with the following construct:
12 Lectures/5 Units
